I have three years of experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students in a variety of subjects, mostly math and writing. I come from a family of teachers and grew up in their classrooms, learning firsthand what it takes to help children succeed. I pride myself on being able to relate to my students, quickly identify their learning styles, and break down the subject matter in ways that make sense. I strive to form a personal connection with each student I work with. In fact, three of my past students even attended my wedding this summer!

Originally from San Diego, I am a newlywed living in Hollywood with my husband. In addition to being a tutor, I am also a filmmaker and writer and am currently working on my second novel. I'm a huge film and television nerd, love science fiction, Harry Potter (duh), mermaids, peanut butter, and my dog, Oreo. I'm new to LA, and the fact that I am now so close to Disneyland, 6 Flags and Knott's Berry Farm makes me ridiculously happy. Even though I'm 24, I still have glow-in-the-dark stars on my ceiling.
