I am a 4th year dental student at the UCLA School of Dentistry and have been teaching since freshmen year of my undergraduate career. I majored in Human Biology and received Departmental Honors as well as Distinction in Biological Sciences. I specialized in the sciences but have a strong background in math as well. My goal as a teacher is to help students succeed in areas that they find the most difficult. I love a challenge and am willing to put in the work and effort to help you succeed. I have done 1-on-1 tutoring as well as taught classes up to 400 students. I am easy going, professional, and patient. Fun Fact: I love coffee, basketball, and going to the gym.
Experience
I have recently cleared both GRE (in March 2015) and scored in the 90% on 2 out of the 3 subjects. After taking this exam, I feel I can really help other fellow graduates who are struggling with the various subjects. They are all about thinking quickly, writing effectively and speaking easily. I trained myself completely and I intend to guide others through these exams. What gives me an added incentive is my flair for teaching. I am passionate about education and committed to helping others learn. I hold myself to the highest standards and will guide my students by providing the instruction for academic success. I excelled in prealgebra and my work experience includes helping students prepare for quizzes and tests, keep up with homework assignments and provide one-to-one pre-algebra tutoring that can boost grades to a higher level.
