Education
I graduated with an accounting and business degree from a private liberal arts school in Iowa- Coe College. Following my graduation, I started with PwC in Chicago working in their assurance line of service. Currently, I am working as a financial controller for a large multi-million dollar account in San Francisco and Los Angelos. I want to assist students reach their potential in accounting and also want to provide them with career advice to find internships and jobs in accounting.
Experience
I primarily specialize in tutoring Accounting, both Financial and Managerial. During college, I worked as a TA for principles, intermediate and managerial accounting during my junior and senior year. I enjoy tutoring college students and my long term goal is also to be a professor at a college. I worked at PwC LLP in Chicago and one interesting aspect of work was to coach new associates through their tasks. Besides helping students understand complicated areas of accounting, I also want to provide professional advice on landing internships and jobs in private/public accounting.
