I have over 9 years of tutoring experience for students ranging from middle school to adults. The topics I cover range from Math and Physics to Biology and Chemistry, and even to Spanish. I have taken 14 AP classes while I was in high school and scored 5 on all of the exams, so I can definitely help you accomplish that. I love tutoring because I find it rewarding to see students grow an intellectual curiosity for a variety of subjects that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. Once students see how fun actually understanding the topics taught in school is, receiving top grades, and being able to think creatively about the current issues the world faces today, there is no limit to what they can accomplish. I am here to assist you on this journey in any way possible. I have tutored students in math classes for over 8 years. I have scored a 5 on AP Calculus AB and BC and scored an 800 in SAT I Math (scored 2400 on the SAT) and an 800 in SAT II Math. I enjoy learning new math concepts, especially ones with practical applications. As your tutor, I will try my best to make learning math enjoyable as well as efficient for a top score on your next test! I have tutored students in biology classes for over 5 years. I have scored a 5 on AP Biology and received an 800 in SAT II Biology. I have over 7 years of biological research including cancer research (skin, prostate, genetics), optogenetics research, and developmental biology research on cadherins. I really enjoy learning about new biological advances and I find it especially gratifying to teach students about the interactive nature and applicable knowledge that biology class has to offer. I am very knowledgeable about the college application process (including SAT and ACT preparation) and I am more than willing to assist you in the process, for your student to be admitted into the best university possible.
